What is walk and talk therapy?

Walk and talk therapy is a form of psychotherapy conducted outdoors while walking, usually on a trail or in a park. It combines the benefits of movement and nature with traditional talk therapy.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions take place in Cupertino at locations like Rancho San Antonio, Stevens Creek Trail, Cupertino Library, or Memorial Park. We'll choose a spot that works for your comfort and mobility level.

What should I wear?

Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Layers are a good idea since Bay Area mornings can be cool.

Is walk and talk therapy covered by insurance?

Walk and talk sessions are billed the same as traditional therapy sessions. If you're using insurance or submitting superbills, the same coverage applies.

What if the weather is bad?

If conditions are unsafe or uncomfortable, we'll reschedule or switch to a virtual session.
